Making the best of it.

I had a photo session set up with a model to help her build her portfolio.  The day we picked turned out to be cloudy and rainy.  The plan was to do fitness and swimwear to bolster her portfolio.  If you are prepared, bad weather can make nice photos.

This photo was taken off the side of a road. The clouds diffused the light, which is great news for photographing people’s faces.  I wore boots so I could go where ever I wanted. Good thing because this photo was taken standing in the middle of the stream.

Here we used jeans shorts and a brown bikini top in an area with scrub oak. I asked her to remember being a little girl and just dance around the trees like she was 8 years old.
